Black chelsea boot - should I buy?

I don't own a chelsea boot, and am wondering if this would be a good buy?

I'm usually "fashion" shoe guy, so this seems inexpensive to me -- I'm a little suspicious of "saks" brand. That said, I don't have to spend $600 on a pair of boots if I don't have to.

Also, what do you wear your chelseas with? Are they more for jeans only or can you get away with them and a suit! I don't know.

Is there a website to see these? A cursory search revealed only brown leathers.

Are these made by Alfred Sargent or Crockett & Jones - any ideas?
