He recurs to cocaine at home to see porno and spends a lot of money and mental health. Even 5 grams in a row of 2 days without eating or sleeping.

I can't help him since I am half psicologyst.

Should I sent him to a sanitarium or something?

Has he tried rehab before? How long has he been using it?

Since the old techno days, like 15 years or so, plus speed, xtc, acid. You should know how was then techno scene on Spain.

Yes he goes to the public and private system but he uses as a selftreatment to his depression.

Not the answer you are looking for, but most people that turn their lives around (if they ever) need to hit rock bottom. Your friend has been through the system, and if he hasn't recovered, he may not have enough reason to just yet. Just be there when he needs help (not money, support).

Exactly. When he hits rock bottom you need to be there to support (his habit).

Is his name Carlos Estevez?

I've had friends who were addicts. There's really not much you can do right now. He won't listen to reason and he won't be swayed by your impassioned pleas. He needs to realize that he has to do it for his own good and then follow through.

Best you can do is wait for the day he asks you for help, and be a good friend. I told my buddy who was addicted to meth that I would go to an NA meeting with him (I'm not sold on AA and its offshoots completely but I know that it works for a lot of people) and that if he got bored or lonely he could come hang out at my place rather than with his drug buddies. He's 2 years clean now and he credits my help a lot.

I would say that you should make your feelings known now, not in terms of judgment but expressing concern. Don't belabor the point but tell him that when he decides to quit, you will be there to help. Other than that, it's up to him.

You should suggest that he should bang 7 gram rocks and finish them.
