definitely some cool stuff in there. Good post, thanks.

yeah I really enjoyed that show during fashion week. Seems like all the buyers did as well, if that GQ article was to go by.

I checked out the pics of this show on GQ but these are way better. Can see a lot more detail. Thanks for posting. Just to throw in my two cents, Spurr has been a favorite for a few seasons now. It's not revolutionary clothing, but it all looks perfect. I'm curious to see how he evolves over time. I hope he keeps pushing his boundaries and coming up with new ideas that are still wearable and not strictly conceptual.

^ apparently footwear is by common projects

Simon Spurr’s Fall 2011 collection show held at Exit Art was the place to be this Sunday with the likes of Anna Wintour, Robert Verdi and Brad Goreski all sitting front row. Spurr was all about the fit this season with tapered pants, suits, and shirts. The color palette of grays, navys, blacks, browns, and rich mustards seen on the runway is a common one this season but Spurr’s exquisite tailoring stands out on its own. Accents worth mentioning were the feather lapel pins and knitted hooded scarves. Key looks included the several heavy jackets with shiny gold buttons and Spurr’s ever present suiting done in a rainbow of colors. Footwear by Common Projects fit the line perfectly with black lace-up boots to accent the collection. – NICHOLAS LANDRY

Here're the spring 2011 photos. They are *all* CPs as far as I can tell. Heavy use of the summer gumsole in both white and black and the grey achilles low. I wish I had snagged the navy achilles in this pic which I swear I've seen at some e-store

High-res full collection photos (Spring/Summer 2011):

EDIT: Yes they're indeed CPs

you're welcome. yeah it took me a while to figure out where gq/style.com store their high-res photos (you can view them w/ their flash loader but no url is shown. basically (i guess this may be relevant to people who want to post pics from gq/style or anywhere that uses a flash loader for high-res photos) you can download ChromeCacheView, clear chrome cache, load a couple of high-res photos from the target website, then run ChromeCacheView, look for pics with the largest file size and you can figure our what their URL is as well as how low-res urls translate to high-res. also this little app is really convenient for bulk-generating urls and IMG codes

^ lol i was just trying to be helpful and didn't intend it to come off as anything else but maybe i missed some subtlety here and there's a better way to say what i wanted to say not speaking english natively probably didn't help again, LOL.

no I'm just messing around with you, I think it's really interesting what you did and I love finding creative solutions to problems like that. I really just want to say great job, but I thought that old cheesy VR gif could be funny in place of that I have every intention of doing what you did to get these pictures on a number of other things

haha gotcha, thanks for clarifying and in retrospect it really isn't that in need of clarification anyway
yeah it'd be good to have high-res pics for a lot of other runways. some dude was posting high-res pics in the ervell thread (even higher-res than these i think) i don't know where he got those from.

damn, looks awesome
Not usually a fan of the stuff you see on runways...but, wow, that stuff was cool.
