I respect your opinion; however, I only apply lexol to the vamp and never wax to the vamp, just cream. I bought recently a fresh bottle.
Therefore, to avoid the stickiness I apply the Lexol the same way as on my car seats: with a moistened applicator. That works, but I'm still not a big fan of lexol on vamps, only on soles.
