Yeah, but they are not nearly as accessible. Here in nyc she can go into C&J and Church's and see them and try them on.

Very true. Sadly, an affliction that their male models also share. There are a few on their online store, but that's about it.

Men have the advantage of being able to compare the fit to comparable shoes. With girl's shoes that's not the case.

I kind of love that I've been an official member of this forum for about thirty seconds, and y'all are totally being enablers about the idea of my buying above-my-current-means shoes that would ALSO require most of my trousers be altered.  I think I've found my true spiritual home.

We're here to serve all of your addictive tendencies. We love the company!

Although I do not recommend spending beyond your means - no matter what the temptation.

Before style forum I thought £600 on a pair of shoes was an obscene amount of money. Now I realize it's just scratching the surface of high end footwear.

I don't think anyone here spends much more than 600 pounds on shoes except for possibly bespoke.

ToDo: bookmark this post and create a calendar reminder for, oh, 1 to 1.5 years in the future to come back and re-read what you wrote. Be prepared to laugh/cry yourself and your non-existent bank account silly.
