Has anyone tried them?

No. But honestly you should take your shoes to a cobbler instead.

Nope, just plants and spices in pill form. She could use some mind altering substances though...

They do, that kind of discoloration is typical of corrected grain leathers as well.

If not, then either take them to the cobbler to have them stripped and repolished or get some renovateur and or renomat and try it yourself.

In that case, blending the old layers by adding a new layer of colored shoe cream followed by colored wax may cover them up adequately. It's certainly worth a shot as you can't hurt it by polishing over the scuffs.

thanks for the tips guys. I will put that as my weekend project and see if that'll help. if not these will go on B&S soon for the price I got them for.

Thank you for the advice. I probably should ask a cobbler, but part of me still wants to try the spray. biggrin.gif

It's simply the wax build up, strip the shoes with Renomat (it should works if the shoes were not polished with silicon products) and repolish them with good quality cream and wax.

Does anyone else love concrete stairs as much as I do? Especially the ones with those small jagged rocks embedded in the sides!263 What's my plan of attack here?

If you're in the US you can pick it up from the SF affiliate Hanger Project. That's where I picked up mine from.

It's also available here

Ouch - that sucks. Are they shell? (They look like shell) Renovateur and brushing for starters. I had someone something similar to my shell AE Bradleys by walking up my heels and it did the job.

If calf, start with some polish that matches the color, and slowly start building up the layers.

Good luck.

so i used a damp cloth to try to clean the shoes to see if it's just a wax build up and guess what?

I am going to order the renomat from the hanger project but $10 shipping for one bottle seems to be too expensive. I am thinking about picking up the Renovateur not the cream because I have the walnut premium shoe polish from AE. Any suggestions are welcome!

Hanger Project nailed me on shipping too.  Rider Boot ships US mail, I think, it's about $5.

Thanks, yes they are Ravello shell! I'll try to get some quickly, because it makes me sad every time I look down at them (my first pair of shell, after all)
