I love heavy fabrics. Screw the temperature. I'll just put them on.

Easy for you to say in the Pacific Northwest. Try standing on a NYC subway platform in August. Beelzebub has got it easier wherever he may be.

This is so going to sound anti-sartorial, but I will just open my jacket, shove my hands into my pocket, and stand there like a standardize, 5 ft. 9 douchebag who's too cool to button his jacket up LOL!!!

I mean, I am a trooper. I still wear a suit, but I sweat like a mother and I am miserable. I won't ever stand without the jacket buttoned, however.

DW, do you often get requests on unlined footwears?

Never. Don't believe in it either.

Sweating directly into the uppers doesn't sit well with me.

Depends on how well the leather was tanned, what fiber the sock was, and the quality of the insole, sweating directly into the uppers can be prevented, I think.

It can be prevented by adding a lining.

Historically, no...not often. Grain side was to the inside.

Fellas, speaking of shoe care, can anybody share some experience with those "Exotic" shoe brushed? The sort like goat hair, yak hair, whatever so kind of new hair they use for brushes (I was thinking pubic hair, but IDRK).
