Just got my pair from zeemon, thanks man!

I'm not sure if these are old stock from the 70's or if they're new and still being produced somewhere, but they look and smell brand new.

I'm probably not much help with sizing, I got the 280 which fits perfect. I wear a size 9UK in converse chuck taylor high tops, though they're a bit tight (probably a half size small, maybe a full size? never tried 9.5UK or 10UK)

I think I also have narrow feet since I can size down on paul smith shoes since they're long (i'm an 8UK in the Kasmin boot which fits me quite slim but not tight)

11US in nike running shoes (free run 2, and air pegasus, dunno about how everything else is sized)



Now I need some thicker laces, anyone have any recommendations for this? I dont like these skinny, too-short laces.

i meant to say that my GATs from zeemon arrived quickly and seem very well made for the price.
i went TTS also, im a UK 8.5 and 275 fits me well.
the toebox is not quite as sleek as the margiela version, but still a nice-looking trainer.

I put the 45 inch ones in natural on my gats size 285 and when laced through all the holes there is enough for a really small bowtie. If you tie your shoes tight or have smaller feet, the 45 inch should be good.

good call, I picked up the 'natural' ones (the 54" ones though) and this is how they look

Didn't get a chance to read through the entire thread, but do they make a high top or mid of these or is that just a margiela exclusive? also, materials, width, etc.. different from Mmm replica? I thought I read somewhere that they werent as comfy but, would rather ask here.

Only low tops, not the same materials/fit, not as comfy, but decent shoes. You're comparing military surplus shoes with a fashion shoe that costs 5x+ as much...

cool, thanks... thats true, but in my experience, sometimes the fashion shoe is not as comfy as the shoe modeled after.

I rather like the original skinny laces if it's a surplus pair. Looks better on them than trying emulate the MMM look.
