TFK- if you can get MMMs on sale, I feel they're fully worth the price. They'll last way longer and they feel way better (originals are sort of thin and flimsy.

Thanks...

Kagemusha what constitutes a steal for MMM GATS?
A steal? $200-$225 shipped A good deal? $300 shipped They retail at $420 for regular, $440 for mesh and $465 for painted, so you get the idea. Some peeps may say, oh just wait for them to get marked down, blah blah....but if you're a common size (41-43) they usually sell out at a lot of places in the normal white colorways at full retail.

I rather use such money for a new pair of trickers/alden, so I guess I'll pass on MMM. Do they still make the those Adidas GATs, they don't look to shabby. I was also looking at the all white samba, as they kind of resemble GATS. Finally what's the deal with the GATS found on the German EBAY? Who produces them? Will they hold up?

Cheers

I bought the GATs proxied by Zeemon on the first page of this thread, they've been holding up well so far and definitely worth the price imo

For those claiming that the quality is decent for these german GATS, would you say its comparable to nikes or adidas? or do they feel even cheaper?

Depends on nike/adidas model, though I'd say they feel a bit cheaper. Not the most comfortable trainers, not gonna lie

No, they're not very comfortable. The insole sucked and the leather was very stiff and plasticy. The best part of the shoes were that they had a great shape/profile.
