Thanks, I suppose you paid MSRP for them?

I do not mind spending 200-300 but 500 seems really hard to justify for sneakers, but I really like them lol so I might just end up doing it.

You can get them for $300 on TBS (sold out atm on white). Also suggest checking B&S and ebay often since they come up a lot. Definitely not worth $500.

Thanks, Im looking for the all white leather and the all gray suede pair, I went through all of B&S and nothing there...I will try the bay.

am i the only person who finds the MMM GATs to have a rather clunky shape? i actually prefer the shape of the og GATs i have, they're much sleeker and have a lower profile.

I feel the same way dude. I don't know where they made them (West Germany or France maybe?) but the original Adidas spec look a lot nicer and closer to the cousins they were based on.

I'd still take a pair of made in West Germany Universals over GATS any day though.

got my gats

how come there is like a little bump in the middle of the insole, its very annoying

also the laces are ugly as, change them to some flat wide beige ones, well thats what im gonna do.

I dunno but mine have that as well. Maybe it's meant to be good for your feet... massaging a nerve or something like that? I also find it quite uncomfortable.

Do any of you run in GATs? What are GATs originally intended for, more like conditioning exercise as opposed to running?

(I'm on the road a lot and need to work out and don't want to bring too many shoes.)
