Please critique BB Extra-slim fit shirt on me (Added new pics)

edit: Please take a look at my last post in this thread for 15/32 pics. I bought some BB Extra Slim Fit shirts in 15.5/32. Please take a look and tell me if this is the right size. 15 neck felt a little too snug buttoned up so I went with the 15.5 since it'll probably shrink a bit after washing. This shirt is before washing and tailoring. My tailor could probably take care of the extra room in the waist, but the arms seems to be pretty roomy too. I'll also have the pockets taken off. Any other alterations I should ask for? Thanks.

My BB extra-slim's didn't shrink at all. But ya, first thing I noticed is the arms are a big roomy.

Size-down or find another maker. Better yet, go MTM.

Your right shoulder seam seem to be falling off your shoulders. Some like it there, i prefer to have it abit higher up.

Like you mentioned - waist, arms.

Maybe you should consider MTM shirts - I find MTM stuff to be better. I'm tall and skinny and find it hard to get slim fits to fit well.

I have small arms so I guess MTM might be the only way for my shirts to accommodate that. I've actually gotten 2 shirts from Mytailor before but I need another fitting and they won't be in San Francisco until May.

Do all BB shirts have the box pleat? Seems wrong for a slim fit shirt.

This. The shirt looks too full.

If I'll never be wearing OCBD shirts with a tie, and hence never buttoning the collar button, could I get away with getting a shirt with a smaller neck size (that would be too tight if buttoned)?

If you don't mind me asking, how much are your paying for them ?

Unless on a deep discount, you might want to consider one of the online MTMs ?

It's not horrible, but it's too big. Especially the sleeves. Without seeing the top button done, it's hard to tell if you can go down a size, but I suspect that you can. Either way, I think that with your slight build, MTM would provide much better results. You can try Modern Tailor or the like for about the same you would pay for a BB shirt.

Yes, but again why when you can get a MTM shirt at the same price?

don't laugh, but have you considred the BB boy's line? A sz 18 or 20 might fit you better than any of the men's stuff. The shirt in your pic is too big on you. Just saying.......

The BB shirts were $63 each before tax. I would normally try MyTailor Thomas Mason Silver Line but they won't be in the area until May. I could actually stick with polo shirts until that time as I only intern 2 days a work in a business casual environment. I think I'll see how a smaller size would fit and base my decision on that. I doubt there would be much difference in arm size though.

There's about a 2" circumference difference in the chest between a 15 and a 15.5; even if you stuck it in the drier it wouldn't shrink that much. I'd suggest sizing down or MTM, esp. given what you're going to have to spend for alterations.
