I've seen far uglier shoes than that. Any of the current Stacy Adams shoes are the first to come to mind.

Agreed, I wouldn't be caught dead in them but it gets a lot worse.

They're not great but we did see a lot worse than that on SF...

At least they're hideously expensive for how good they look.

Just forward the picture to Hermesman...

He will love that.

Love is always in the eye of the credit card holder.

I actually think they look pretty good. As AR points out in the link, the main problem is the little flap, it seems needless. If I had the money to spring, and had already bought all the other shoes I would want/need, I'd get these. I love gator, and these look like high quality. Of course they're not worth the money, but they're not made for people who debate whether something is "worth" it.

If I were given them, would I wear them? Yes.

The second half of the thread title - "world's ugliest.."is a lift from the SW & D title. I agree I have seen uglier. But vulgarest
(if that is a word)?

Lasbar: my original draft post ended "Calling Hermes Man". But I thought I'd leave that to a senior member to pick up on.

I agree. But I'm trying (if not always succeeding) to fit in with the lower-snark new MC.
