We should MTO this with C & J in Whiskey Hoit...

I'm based in London and will be visiting the stores tomorrow, so I'll be happy to proxy for a small fee if anyone is interested. Send me a PM for sizing/stock requests.

I should probably add that I have no idea as to what the level of discounts will be or what models will be discounted.

So for genuinely interested parties, quickest and easiest way is to PM me the size/color/model and max. price they're willing to pay, and if the sale price fits, I'll purchase and then can work out the payment arrangements via PayPal.

Ok, so I just got a price from C&J for some Snowdon boots. It was quite more expensive then I had originally thought, so if any of you gentleman want to part with a pair in a size 8uk please let me know and we can hash out a deal.

@hoit1981 @BootSpell I'm roughly two months from taking delivery of my own whiskey Harlechs; any recent pics to demonstrate how they age?

Sorry for the delay, but here are some pics from this morning.  I don't think they've been worn enough for what you're looking to see, though.  I've had them about five months and they've been worn only nine times. The whiskey shell has very nice depth and character to it, almost like 3D.  I think you will love them.

Fantastic! Thank you.

Looking great, BootSpell! 9 times in 5 months is nothing to be ashamed of. Twice a month is much better than I do! wink.gif

Boots, those are looking really nice!

I haven't worn mine very much recently - it's been too hot and rainy. Will try to get them on this weekend as they deserve some attention.

Thanks, guys. Feeling guilty for not wearing shoes is ridiculous, isn't it?

hi all!

have any of you gone trekking with your C&J's - I am going to South America for 8 weeks and thinking of bringing my Conistons.

Is this just a terrible idea or a great look for adventure?

Are you gonna be hiking??

If so I would take a real hiking boot...

Commando soles? If Dainite I might still be wary. How extreme is the hiking going to be? I did a week long trek in Peru and wore Meindl's with no regrets at all.
