Hi mate agree there. I use black on brogues etc. the issue earlier was muddied by Rudals. Now that's quite a different prospect

It's definitely half a size too big, so I'll be returning them. It's a really elongated shoe.

What are your experiences?

I have discussed my experience with this model from Barneys in earlier posts. The shoe was crazy long for the listed size and I returned them.

Any one care to give me the measurement of 9D on a 348 lasted shoe, the sole front tip to back? I.e. one that you know is a normal 348 last (as opposed to the Barneys ones which seem, by all accounts, to possibly be longer than normal).

Just got a new pair of Wembley smile.gif

Still in the process of removing the brown polish the factory applied with neutral polish. Its much darker than the dark brown of the lowndes for some reason they should be the same leather...

Has anyone managed to make the shoe much lighter and in richer in colour?

360 is a very odd last by the way its very very pointy to look down as the wearer but when looking at it head on or from the side it looks more almond.

search function doesn't work correctly for me, would somebody link me or post it here? Thanks.

The shoes are great, but they're just too long like you said. It's at least 1/2 a size off.

My personal experience with C&J dark brown (2 BG and 1 HG) is that they lighten as you wear them.  I've always continued to use dark brown (and sometimes red) cream to get a nice variegation, but it's something that happens with a bit of use.

Thanks in which case I'll patiently wait for the colour to form smile.gif
