Tried on the 341 last today and it is similar to the 348. It's a great last for a low instep (think Simpson last from Carmina)..

I also tried the 240 (BB last), and there was a lot of room in the vamp. Definitely ideal for high insteps (think Rain last).

I can confirm we are always updating our USA site we new styles and

I also learned from them that they don't deduct VAT for outside-of-EU purchases. No thanks.

I have a pair of Northcotes which I have had for only a few months and they have been worn about 20 times so far in dry weather. They are stromwelted with Dainite rubber soles. However I noticed today that the right shoe at the front has developed a split, i.e. the rubber layer has separated from the other layer above it. Should this be happening? I didnt expect something like this to happen to £350+ shoes (which I may add have been treated with care). And is there anything I can use to glue it back together?

C and J are know for their excellent customer service so if you explain what you just said they should fix that for you. (most likely by gluing and restitching the welt to the sole of that portion).

Has anyone seen the Maidwell in the flesh?

These look like the complete package - brilliant colour, nice brogueing, and no penis-shaped medallions ala the Selbourne.  360 last.

Unfortunately C&J London don't sell this normally and can only sell it as a special order for 625 pounds.

Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

I'd just take that to a good shoe repair and have them re-glue it and hammer it down.

Have not tried myself, unfortunately.

The Malton is another lovely looking C&J in the 360...some excellent stuff coming out in the 360 last.

The stitching has not been affected, only the glue. I will give them a call to check.

If I did that then when time comes to re-sole my shoes C&J will not accept them.

I'm not sure where you heard that but it is simply not true...

I've had my shoes repaired by B. Nelson's in NYC (the same shoe repair that C&J NYC uses for minor things...) and also had the same shoes sent back to C&J northhampton for re-sole...

Seconded. I had a similar issue with a pair of Galways and Edward Green suggested doing it myself or taking it to a local cobbler to fix as it was so minor.
