Cross posted at the C&J for RL cordovan thread, but does anyone know they conversion between the Harvard loafers in UK sizing to the RL Marlow loafer in US sizing? The shoe is identical in every aspect except for the full strap across the vamp on the Marlows.

Thanks

If you are size US 7 D, you will be a UK 6 to 6 1/2 E in our own shop (If the width increases by 1 stop (D to E), the size decreases by up to 1 whole size (1/2 for the width and 1/2 for the US-UK sizing)).  We focus mainly on E width on our store so this conversion might be more useful.

Latest C&Js, Hartland, ocean blue suede.

My favourite C&J last is the 348, like bespoke/MOT for my funny-shaped feet.

This is my first 359 last and it is slightly pointier than the 348, but still very very comfortable.

The chukka boot's top sits very well above the ankle and is a joy to wear.

Fit is quite snug, almost like I've worn them for a few months already, and I am quite sure I can kick in a door and remove annoying kids from my path with little effort.

Finishing, I'll let the snaps speak for themselves but the usual superb C&J attention to detail is evident. The suede is a fairly dark blue and should not show wear too easily.

Quality, these will be used for weekend/evening/casual Friday style days and I reckon these will last me a few decades.

Love the tan edging contrast with the navy blue. Fantastic combo!

Thanks - yes looks very sweet. What drew me to them in the first place. Something very different than the all dark grey Dainite sole.

Hey Guys

Last year I bought 3 pairs of CJ shoes and with all 3 of them I experienced the same problem, after a while the top of the heel starts to come off. With my 2 oxfords this started after 2-3 months. With my Coniston boots, which I bought middle of december, it's already noticeable on the sides, and I only have worn them 8-9 times and not on rough terrain. My cobbler says he sees this fenomenon more and more with all brands...

I wear my shoes often but never for 2 days in a row.

Is this normal? It's not really a big deal as my cobbler can easily replace them (for rubber ones because he says these stay in place better) but it's still 15€ for each replacement.

PS: besides of this returning problem I'm very happy with overall quality and durability of my CJ shoes. Very comfortable shoes as well.
