Actually C&J is one of my fav brands. But after trying G&G I don't think about it anymore, but from time to time I buy C&J (can't spend G&G money all day long)

Your call - depends on how you want the patina to develop. When I can be arsed to polish my (chestnut) Skye, I often use burgundy cream and mahogany or medium brown polish. Have a play around, you can always change course if you don't like the results. Neutral is too boring for my liking; I don't use it at all. Adds nothing to the character of the shoes.

I took delivery of these guys a couple days ago and have not wore them yet other than on the carpet, indoors.

C&J Selbourne in Chestnut calf, handgrade on last 358, size UK9.

Even though true to size, my size, now I wish I have bought them 1/2 size smaller, they look sooo long

Just polished them a bit, other than that factory finish.

Will use Saphir mahogany cream combined with Medium Havana to buid up a darker patina (I have both creams).

Maybe, or an old collection that C&J don't have now. They look ugly there (I don't think it's the same) those in suede was so awesome.

I use burgundy cream + tan/dark brown/black wax polish on my tan Chepstows.
