Did you go tts? I sized down 1/2 size and it was tight in ball of the foot. Tts was too big. Fits a lot like Alden Grant

Was on eBay a pair of Peals marked 11C so we'll see. Tried the Peal captoes in store and I think that's on the 240. TTS 11D fit better for me but I went in the morning so not a accurate gauge of sizing.

I thought I would ask this  question here.

I am trying to compar between a Pair of Loake Oban size UK8F 1639 Last and a pair of Crockett & Jones Harvard Shell Cordovan Loafer Size UK7.5 E last 314

I think the length is the same but it is the Width that worries me

Has any tryed or had any experiance with these 2 Lasts

Really liking them:

I'm a bit torn between two pairs for my next purchase.
I'm looking for a pair to go with light (stone wash) jeans, and a button down shirt, fairly casual.
I've whittled it down to the Snuff suede Sydney and tha Tan Drummond.
Which do you think would go better?

I think the Drummonds would be too dressy.

I have the drummunds, and, personally, I wouldn't even consider wearing them that casually. But to each their own ....

i like them a lot. i feel they would look better with a lighter color or darker trouser. i always find olive trousers to be a bit of a tough shoe color to match

also socks need to be changed

You are welcome. Indeed, perhaps nothing goes better with olive trousers than a medium (or dark) brown shoe.

Cords can stay but socks must go. They don't match anything
