I posted this on the Alden thread but thought I'd post it here too.

Just trying to see if there is interest in a brand new pair of burgundy shell captoe boots from C&J:

They retail for $998, but I am willing to sell for less. Size 10D, and the consensus is they fit TTS. They are beautiful and well constructed (Dainite sole). If no interest I am returning them. The fit for my foot just isn't quite right.

Where are people ordering their C&J from these days? Is anyone ordering direct from C&J UK? I'm trying to contact them to get a quote and price list to no avail. baldy[1].gif

You can still order direct, and their UK mail order contact does respond to queries. I got the price list from them one week ago.

Just bought 2 pairs of Tetburys from Plal. They still have considerable stock available. For how much longer?...I don't know.
But they are great to deal with and fast on shipping!

I call the Jermyn Street directly. It helps if you have been to the website and have a list of models to enquire about. That way the sales person knows you are serious.

Very fond of Sky Valet. Local for me, so very convenient. And, very nice guys. I buy my Alden there too.

I also have bought a pair at Barneys NY flagship store when they were on clearance sale. Those prices can't be beat - 50% off. Too bad there was nothing else I wanted at the time.
