Conistons are on the 325 last which those certainely are not on.

Those boots look pretty similar to the GJ Cleverley 'Elliot' bench-made boot but in tan grain leather. Regardless, they're a great looking pair of boots. Enjoy!

You are right, sorry for being naive and unfair with the shoemaking industry in the UK. I am sorry about comparing UK and Italy too, two european countries with similar EU problems, but worst in Italy. Next time I won´t compare Norway and Chile, that would be hard.

.... Edgeware is a style by Crockett and Jones... Not a brand..?

They haven't doubled in price.

I never had Conistons etc but they fit firmer than any CJ 11E I ever had in fact I usually take 10.5 UK in CJ so lucky I went for 11
Anyone who knows their Conistons etc will probably be able to clarify but I never saw a CJ with size in a window a la EG?

They're George Cleverly.

Hi, I am new in this thread.  I have some pairs of C&J.  Are all C&J handgrade made in crust leather (I read so somewhere in SF)?.  Thanks in advance.

They are george cleverley RTW, which is now mostly made by C&J on cleverley's proprietary lasts.

I don't think so. A new shoe C&J for me. Seem hard to find.

Isn't that Hartwell, made for the French stores on the 369 last? That aggressive chisel is quite interesting!

A cross post from the suede shoe thread. These are C&J for Barneys. I love the shape of the last, not as wide and heavy looking as the similar Alden. The color is great too. Light enough for lighter summer apparel yet dark enough for Fall/Winter flannels and cords. Wearing these with jeans and an oxford today.

Does anyone know the name of this new boot model?

Yes thanks I do know that they are Cleverley and expected that they are by CJ as I have other Cleverleys which certainly are - but what I am saying is having got them in the flesh I am not sure that they are actually by CJ.
Not worried either way but just wondered what the CJ experts thought?

I'm interested as well. Model-wise it looks exactly like the Gianni they make for RL, but I'm pretty sure they can't name it the same.

Yes, well spotted. They call them Hartwell II, interesting shoe which seems a little like a cut down Tetbury.

Seems to be the Galway boots. In cordovan.

Yes, I have confirmed that it is indeed the new Galway model which will be available around Sept/Oct. Perhaps this will fill the gap left by the discontinuation of the RL Gianni. Thanks.
