My rule of thumb (rule of toe?) is 8.5% plus brokerage fees.

Most stuff I've purchased gets classified as 6403.51.60.

My last order from C&J was "customs friendly".

Sounds fair, it would be the first time i get something international from UPS, so it will be a learning experience for me. Thank you.

Oh and don't be surprised if UPS driver makes you write a check at delivery.
I've picked up an international package from a UPS store and was billed a week later but their usual thing is to collect at delivery.

Does anyone have the Skye 4 in snuff suede? I'm looking for opinions if possible. Also If my Islays are size UK 7 would I take the same in the Skye?

That's next on my list as well. I had planned on taking the same size as my Islay, but I guess it comes down to how you like your boots to fit.

I got the Coniston in dark brown two weeks from Fransboone. Price was roughly $470.00 plus about $45 in customs. That is a great price if you are in the US.
