It's considerably cheaper if you order from here:

$380 if you order from UK; $320 if from France.

Yes, I noticed the great price days ago but I would rarely wear a black brogue...

OT just noticed also this new model http://www.ralphlauren.fr/product/index.jsp?productId=35492881
seem to be made by Loake, a slighty modified Loake Cannon

Agree. Black brogue is dull.

How do you pick size at the fulham.es page? there's no roll-down menu to pick a size

Simply click the size number, after colour selection.

Anyone having an issue with selecting a state for shipping? The only state available for US shipping is Washington, which is weird?

I've sold every black shoes I had, now I want to buy a new black pair oxford shoes. I inteded to buy an EG Chelsea oxford, but I dont want to invest to much on a pair that I will rarely use. So I decide to go with C&J, but now wondering between the Lonsdale (last 363) or Audley (last 337). The Audley looks more classic and sober to me, but the Lonsdale is quite attractive. Please give me some advices.

Thank you and appreciate any suggestion.

Hi everyone,

I bought a pair of Tetbury's in size 7UK. I normaly take shoes either in size 6.5 or size 7.

The Tetbury's in size 7 fit well, but they seem a bit longer than most of my other shoes. Is this normal and due to the elongated last?

I was not able to try on the Tetbury's in size 6.5, but I tried on a pair of Highbury's in size 6.5UK, they are made on the same last: namely the 348. The 6.5 Highbury's were okay lengthwise, but seemed too tight in width.

I'm still unsure however if I did the right thing taking the Tetbury's in size 7 as I read several comments on the leather of this model being more prone to stretching... It would be a shame if they turned out to big after a while.

Does anyone have any insights on this? Would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Yes, the 348 is quite elongated. Did yiu buy the shoes in regular calf or suede leather?

In fact I bought two pairs, one in calf leather and one in suede.

If I want to try the 6.5 it will take about 6 weeks for the shop to get them from the factory... So I will have to refrain from wearing them for a long time.

I was thinking to perhaps start wearing the ones in regular calf leather in size 7 and keeping the suede ones in the box until I have been able to try on the 6.5 in a few weeks.

My reasoning is that the suede version will stretch more than the calf leather version. So the risk of the suede pair to become too big is greater...

What do you think?

Well, it all depends on what is comfortable for you and how much the leather will stretch. Most likely, 7 UK is the your correct size.
