I got a couple from Sky Valet a month or so ago. I quite like 'em too! Unlacquered and the hole they drilled out cuts down on the weight a bit, which is useful for traveling.

Damn.  That's a good deal for HG.  I need another pair of C&J (or shoes in general) like a hole in the head relative to other sartorial demands but for $400 I may not be able to pass.

Hey guys, need help with the outsole measurement for the 348 last in UK8 (C&J Westbournes).

I heard they are extremely long and want to avoid looking like Ronald McDonald.

PS: Would be great if a comparison could be done with a pair of Carminas in the Simpson last UK8.5

I have a Hallam in UK 8 E. It's 31 cm. I'll try to take a couple of pictures for you to see the look with different leg opening. With 7" they would look a bit Ronald McDonald to me :)

With jeans and flannels. The Jeans are 7 3/4" and the flannel is 8 1/2" leg opening.

Any chance someone has both the CJ Connaught and Church's Consul Oxfords?

I need a black working horse oxford shoe for everyday, but cannot tell based on the photo which of these two has the more rounded toe area?

Not in a position to compare them in person. Both are priced almost the same, CJ at 365 GBP, Church's at 385 GBP ..

Thanks!

Hey all,

Long time reader - first time poster.

I recently purchased a pair of size 10.5 Alfred Sargent Armfields (109 last) which fit me well. What size would be the best equivalent on the C+J 337 last? Would a 10.5 again be the best choice?

Cheers
