Yeah, there is more shoe makers in the town right? 

 

Maybe its the best place to spot nice shoes in England?

 

Is Northampton worth a visit beside the shoes?

 

Do you know the opening hours on fridays and saturdays? Cant find it online :(

I think you barely have enough time to travel around the factory shops (and try on the shoes).

 

JL, EG, GG, CJ, Church's etc lots of them, and obvious Springline if you want your own bespoke last.

 

You may also visit the shoes museum there as well.

Whole cuts for Brooks. I'm on the fence about keeping these. Maybe too much of a tweener model? Any opinions?

What i didn't like about them most in store was the leather, it has a polished binder finish to it which i just don't trust...

Yes, I was hoping for an all-purpose wedding shoe, but it would probably be wiser to get something more correct for black tie or less shiny for business.
