Yes. If it was US sized it would be D width. The Westbourne doesn't come in a US E width. Good deal, especially with trees!

Thanks for the help guys.

Managed to snag them for quite a bit cheaper than the price listed actually!

Glad to hear a SF member got 'em. Those trees are unreal too. Can't believe seller included them. He could probably get 70$ alone by selling them separately.

and then there are like 6 variations of it...so you just keep buying more of them...

I prefer the Brecon over the Tetbury by a mile.

You can wear the wesrbournes with jeans, but they're not ideal. But then neither are those Bradford's.

When I was in my final two years of college, i used to try to find "cross-over" items between business and casual. None of those items exist in my business wardrobe anymore because there are ALWAYS better full formal options than the "in-betweeners".

Buy yourself a proper pair of dress shoes such as the westbournes, and save them for your formal functions, job interviews etc and LOOK like a boss, and get a nice pair of wolverines/aldens/vibergs etc to kick the shit out of every other casual day. If i knew this, I would've saved more towards buying C&J and carminas etc trying to find "dressy but tough boots" or mcnairy brogues.

but hey, this is just advice.

You're right AriGold. Thanks for your insight. I will strongly consider getting an oxford. I can't wait to go into my local store for a fitting. In case the 348 Last on the Westbournes don't fit me - what else would you recommend?

Audley is a good HG choice, IMO.

The audleys are nice, but I'm going to stick with choosing something in the Main line collection due to budget constraints.

Anyone been to the factory in Northampton?

Is the factory open for public for guided tours?

Can you buy freshly made shoes or SUBS in the shop, if there are any?

Opening hours?

Thanks!

This is it a few weeks back.

You can get shoes £150-£180, boots from £200, pretty much everything in the main collection. (I actually saw some Shell there size 8.5- 10 plus I think)

You can just walk in - no appointment needed - but they open only Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.

If you book your ticket before midnight the cost will be lower.

And this is not SUBS they are selling?

What about the ticket? Need a ticket to get to the shop?

I assume that you are not trolling me.

They are all Subs but I can not really tell what the problems are even with very close examination. I was talking about train ticket above.

No ticket needed to buy the shoes (sorry I was unclear).

It may be worth walking around the town center as well. One striking fact that I discovered the last time I visited the town, people there seem to wearing much nicer shoes than any where in London (including office areas like The City or Canary Whalf).
