** Quintessential Crockett & Jones Thread ** (reviews, quality, etc...) - Page 505

Been lurking for a while and looking to buy my first pair of C&J...I'm 6'4 190lbs US 12 (UK11) with long skinny legs leaning towards the Hallam (348) over the Audley (337)... is the 348 UK11 a bad idea or would it fit my skinny legs? I know it may be a difficult question but any help/in site would be greatly appreciated

Try them both, the way they each fit will probably have a bigger impact on your choice than the aesthetic difference.

Good point I guess I could always return one since I can't try them on in person

This thread's been just too quiet.

Stock Harlechs today.

Haven't worn my C&J's too much lately.  But just wore the Conistons a couple of days ago and the Harlechs today.  For some reason, I am always surprised at how well the C&J lasts fit me so well.  They're definitely 18-hour day boots.

absolutely awesome...

the harlech is one of the few C&J boots I don't own that i really want...but surprisingly not so easy to find in the NYC showroom...

Those are great BootSpell. :fonz:  I have those on my short list to purchase prior to October. I just need to inquire what the charge will be to change the sole to a Ridgeway.

Thanks @68Bullitt. You will love them. Are you sticking with the brown shell?

This question has surely been asked a few times, but I cannot seem to find it on the search function: is the RL Marlow PTB still for sale anywhere? They look amazing in the photos, but I can't find them anywhere online.

Does there happen to be any UK residents here interested in purchasing my C and J Cottesmore boots, theyre a size 10. I can provide further details if any interest :)

@BootSpell. Yeah the standard brown. I just wanted to upgrade the sole to better fit my needs for the upcoming winter in my area. The dainite sole on the Coniston's and the Islay have been fine, but I'd like something with a bit more traction.

Even though I really like my Lindrick and Islay, I now know I like the captoe boot better. Great looking boot!!!
