Haven't heard back yet, but I thought I'd at least gauge the level of interest for this.
I believe I'd be in. Depending on price and delivery.

Noted - thanks!

For reference's sake, they quoted me 780 GBP (including shipping) for a single MTO, and 570 GBP for a Cordovan Skye2 which they have in stock. Safe to assume it'll be somewhere between there, I suppose.

They quoted me 500GBP back in December for the SkyeII. That stinks. I guess I should have bought it. They also quoted me 480GBP for the stock Harlech.

Do you mind telling me what email address you used for Jermyn Street? I have not been able to get a response via email. Hoping the address you used might yield better results...

Yeah, their prices went up big-time a few weeks ago.

I bought the stock dark brown shell Harlech boots at the 92 Jermyn St store for £475 last October.  That was the price excluding VAT, since I had the boots shipped back here to the US.  I wonder what they're going for now?  The whiskey shell Harlech boots I got in the recent GMTO came out to £530, which was £500 for the boots (excluding VAT) and £30 for shipping.  So I'm guessing you guys would be paying at least £500, probably more.

FWIW, I love the whiskey Harlechs, but if I had to pick one of them, I'd pick the stock brown ones.  They are definitely more versatile and the depth of color of the shell is better.  Can't speak for the developing patina as the whiskey is still too new but the brown ones are developing nicely.

I may be interested - what is the cost?

Gnetlemen,
Will using an Alden shoe tree ruin the last of my shoes?
I wouldn't have thought so. The chances are your Alden shoe tree is not lasted anyway, use it with confidence.

Yup! Just make sure you are using the correct size (S,M,L) and aren't jamming one that is too large in your shoe.

Thank you, kind sir.

I'm pretty confident that they sold you the correct size tree, but what size tree and shoe?
