I've been to 2 out of the 3 stores in Paris. The Boulevard Raspail store is fairly small and wasn't very busy when I went to it. I think there was only one employee at the time, but luckily she spoke English. She helped me try on a few pair of shoes and wasn't pushy or anything (I ended up not buying anything). There were some great models I haven't seen before including some great green suede loafers.

I also went to Le Bon Marché, which is a department store in Paris that carries a lot of expensive clothing. There were a lot of salesmen on the floor and I got intimidated, so I didn't really interact with the shoes (I also don't speak French, so I wasn't prepared to engage with any of them).

Thanks. The Boulevard Raspail store is near my hotel so I'll make sure to pass during one of my walks.

Anybody who knows how the 224-last (chiltern, chertsey) compares to the 348-last. The 224 is not elongated I guess but what about room in the toe box? Thx beforehand!

What's the general consensus on last 348 sizing? About to pull the trigger on some Tetburys for my first pair of C&Js (ordering direct, can't try on in person unfortunately). Leaning towards going down a half from my US size instead of a full size based on how narrow the last appears, but wanted to check with you guys first.

The 348 is tricky.

In U.S. sizes I wear a 12D.

I have about 10 pairs of shoes in the 348.

My Tetbury's are all an 11E.

However, my oxfords/monks/loafer,etc. in the 348 are all in a 10.5E.

Hi.

Checking interest for a group MTO in either of these two styles:

Westbourne: http://cdn.styleforum.net/0/06/06b1ccfe_WestbournePoloSuede.png

Both polo suede and i´m open to sole choice etc.

Interesting. I also have several pairs of shoes on the 348/358 last, comprising oxfords, monks, and boots (don't do derbies or loafers). All are UK8.5 save my first pair of Lowndes in 9. I've often felt that I could go a half size down with the Tetburys, but you have give in the opposite direction.

Can anyone speak to the differences in sizing/feel of the 325 vs. 335. For point of reference, the Coniston is on the 325 and the Skye 2 is on the 335. Thanks.
