So being a very lucky UK7, where does one get in on this sale? What do the prices tend to be?

No, they add on about £40-70+.

In any of their shops in London.

but the biggest range is the original store on Jermyn St

Also, if there are handgrade seconds they don't put them out at Northampton, only in the sale. There were some antique brown Brunswick handgrades last year that were about £100 off list, and neither the shop staff nor I could see any defects

I believe that the 341 is similar but a little more rounded. I havn't seen either in person so someone else could chime in. On that note, are there any other lasts from other (cheaper) shoemakers with a similar shape to the 337?

I REALLY want a pair of Weymouths but I don't know if I can justify paying $600+ for a pair...shog[1].gif

I didn't reply to your other post because I didn't have an answer then but after thinking about it a bit, it seems to me that you have a few choices:

  • Buy them on sale
  • Buy them second hand (watch the sales forum here, on Ask Andy and also Ebay)
  • Find an alternative from another brand (like this, this or this)
  • Find a way to justify it wink.gif

Jerk off to the pictures daily but sleep on it.  Pull the trigger If you still want a pair of Weymouth in 6 months.  Don't settle for substitutes, ever.

After about 8 months of pining I bought some Weymouths this year.

So far I'm loving them. They have been well worth the wait. I never ever thought in my wildest dreams I would ever spend so much on a pair of shoes, and that anyone who did was a wanker and a complete twat.

Oh well..... biggrin.gif

Would you prefer the Greenwich Chelsea with it's leather sole?

Or the Northcote with it's more substantial storm welt and Dainite sole?

Would love to hear what you think! satisfied.gif

Northcotes are stunning!

they are on the 348 last, which is quite long, i find it looks good for shoes, not too sure about boots. does anyone have a wear pic of the northcotes, i am afraid the toebox might extend too far from the pant leg.
