Anyone know which last the Wilton is built on? Either way, I've emailed S&H. Will report back.

Thanks for the info. While I haven't handled the 72 last before, it looks to be a balanced and attractive last to me - with a rounder English toe which I favour.

Bumping this up, anybody know a place with the Lowndes, dark brown calf or Westbourne, chestnut calf in size 7E? Would like shipping to be non-UPS, Fedex or DHL so I won't get hit with customs charges. I'm in the US.

Ordered from shoesnorthampton.co.uk ( no VAT, free shipping and sent royal mail) for them to message me back and say I could get put on the 'March 2012 waiting list'. Apparently this is due to C&J putting a limit on how many pairs they can order, so they order once a month and all months until March 2012 are already booked with customers. That's INSANE.

I emailed Plal with no response back.

^you can order directly from C&J which is what I did for my westbournes. The price is almost exactly the same as bodileys except you will have to pay 25gbp for shipping. I ordered from them over the summer and got my shoes in roughly a week.

I'm looking at a burgundy Pembroke pair as my first wingtip. I wear size UK 7 in sneakers, Clark's Desert Boots and casual boots. Should I get the C&J in size 7 or 7.5?

Sneakers not the best idea...but go for a 6.5 or 7 as the pembroke is a country last and fits big.

I have the Pembroke in scotch country grain in 8E, and I usually wear 9D. Size down a whole size from your typical dress shoe.

Great advice but he's not American.

I emailed the London Royal Arcade store and they sent me the entire 2011 catalogue. Prices have risen since the 2010, e.g. Weymouth is now 425 GBP.
