337 is longer not sure I would call it rommier. I think the 348 is wider but might just be foot position.
Strange. I've had both and could have sworn the 348 in the same size is both longer and wider.

337 is narrower and shorter than 348 or 358 (348 is bench grade version of 358). Most people size down a half size for those two lasts versus the 337.
No, the 337 is a more generous (width) last than the 358. The 358 is longer however due to it's narrow toe.
I think that width is more a question of how your foot lays in the foot bed. To me, the 337 feels wider but I think we are probably saying similar things--relative to length and foot position. Suffice it to say, with C&J shoes you really need to try them on. Their lasts vary across the range more than most and the fit is quite different with each.
