One last wearing of my Purdislays before I store them for the summer.

Wearing my Cranford 3's today.  Gave them a nice saphir shine too at A Shine & Co.  Very nice and very comfortable.  I really like the support Chelsea boots provide and how, on these, the heel is gripped firmly by how the shoe is constructed.  A good heel grip alleviates a lot of the pain associated with my bone spurs.

Think I've found the best fitting last for my feet now. The Lingfield on Last 348. I also like how they don't make them with round toes like other chelseas.

Does that store stock any other colour than black? I have noticed this too with some of the shoe stores where I live. Must be that 90% of the regular buyers just want to purchase a black shoe as a "safe bet" ..

I try to stop in whenever I'm in the city. They have almost everything you see on their website. I know they have all the brown, color 8 shell models, and various suede and calf colors. They certainly do have a fair amount of black calf options though.

The C&J NYC store is great...and is moving soon to a much larger space...it will be quite a nice retail location...only a few blocks away.
