Do the Tetbury's crease up more than other C&J models?

Quick question:

Is there anyone who wears the Tetbury as well as the Brecon? My first guess would be either the Tetbury is too tight or the Brecon too wide?

Another one: I had the Brecon but sent it back as it looked too heavy. It did fit very well and comfortable though. Today I received the Chelsea 8, which is apparently on the same Last (341). Yet the Chelsea feels so tight. Are Chelsea Boots on the same last perhaps generally tighter given I cannot adjust the lacing?

They don't take off VAT for outside the EU. Kind of ruins the idea (for non-EU customers!).

The price ends up being close to what you can get from BB on their Corp days.

Brown Shell Tassel Double Leather soles. What's your experience in this model with the new last 325 in Shell? TTS or go down a half. I have found with C&J for the most part 9.5US equates 8.5 UK. Sometimes I believe 9UK would be better as the UK 8.5 can be very slightly shorter and tighter in last 314, 341, 72. I have yet to order the newer Shell Tassel on last 325. Your take? Thanks Amigo's .. Chip

The cognac cream is closest in terms of matching the colour but you could go with light, medium, or dark brown as well should you want to burnish the shoes.

It's hard to make a blanket statement that one model creases more than all the others as the amount of creasing is a function of the leather used, how well a particular last, in this case, the 348, fits the wearer's foot, and the wearer's gait. For example my shoes tend to not crease much on the vamp as my feet don't flex much when I walk but the same shoes may crease more for someone else who walks differently.

If you Google Tetbury pictures it would seem that the waxed leather creases substantially more than the suede but it's hard to draw conclusions based on anecdotal evidence much less conclusions on whether the Tetbury creases more than other C&J models. All this is to say that as with most cases the answer is that it depends haha. I would recommend that you try on multiple C&J lasts and models if possible to see how they fit your feet and how they crease as you walk.

Nice one @Cleav, with this kind of weather, nothing can beat sitting outside with that pair of shoes, a cup of coffee and the newspaper
