Mouthwatering.

I tried, but just couldn't take my eyes off them.

I have been putting heel and toe taps on all my good shoes, because I really don't like the look of worn heels or toes, and can't imagine wearing shoes with worn heels and toes until their so worn that they need replacing. That would mean having worn heels/toes most of the life of the shoe, as they start wearing down on the first wear. I even put the taps on my rubber soles shoes, as crazy as that might sound.
Having said all that, would it be a new level of crazy if I put heel and toe taps on dainite soles?

I use toe and heel taps on leather and danite. Like you, i hate to have the heels and toes wear.

thanks.  i was asking specifically about dainite (as opposed to standard rubber) because the dainite heels seem to have somewhat of a

built-in heel tap.  see below photo.  do you put the heel tap directly on the "built-in" tap?

My shoes wear at the corner on the inside, so that is where the shoe repair place puts them on my shoes. Guess it depends on how you walk.

It's not common, but it can be done. I wear down my toes and heel very fast, so I also put taps on my dainite shoes/boots as well.

Cool. Nice to see I'm not as crazy as I thought. Do you put the heel tap on top of the "built-in" tap on the dainite heel?

I used to put them on all shoes, but as I seem to be accumulating a lot of shoes, I seem to wear them down much slower. I usually do put them on all of my shoes though.

I put taps and rubber soles on all my dress shoes but not on Dainite but again that's just me :-)
