Do we know how sizing works? Should we order our US size or UK size?

That debate hasn't been fully settled yet, but I think the US size is one full size up from UK size.

Can anybody confirm?

In my experience it's kind of a crapshoot. Order US but sometimes I think Barney's does 1/2 size conversion and sometimes even 1 size more narrow. From my past orders here's what I think happened with the conversion, although I could be wrong.

Clifford - full size
Malton - 1/2 size
Wicklow - full size
Tetbury - printed US size is actually UK size, i.e. US 10D is actually UK 10D (narrow). In any case a Barneys US 9.5D was both longer and more narrow than my other UK 9E 348 last shoes.

So, does anyone know about any of the current sale models?

Well, I ordered the Camberley in 8.5 US on the 348 last. Will report on sizing when I get it.

Thanks! I'm curious to hear how it compares to UK sized 348 lasted shoes.

FYI, Barneys NY have the Chepstow boots on sale in Loden, which I believe is an exclusive for the store. They are really great.

If I were to order I think I would go with U.S. Brannock and half size below that. Return the one that doesn't fit.

Do you own them? How did you size?

It feels 'cardboard-ier' if that makes sense. Also despite both models using dainite soles the Skye 3 are noticeably lighter than the Northcotes.

Wax calf is used for the Northcote boot.
Personally I prefer the non-Wax calf of the Skye.

I have ordered from Grafford before - the Skye boot in black scotch grain (on the box styled as the Skye 4 boot). They were good to work with.

FWIW, I got hit with customs.
