Currently all I've asked about is to a full bellows version, preferably in zug, everything else being the same as the standard Snowdon. I'm waiting to hear the response from the factory on the availability of zug which will take a 'few days'. If that's not going to work then I'd still be up for doing a standard oak wax hide version, but with full bellows.

I'll also ask about faux cap-toe and if they all have to be the same, and if we can vary the widths (as someone asked), but I don't really see why not??

They have both Ridgeway and Commando. I'd prefer either over Dainite.

No clue why i said danite......i would prefer commando and rifgeway in that order.

You can like Dainite if you want, would be boring if we were all the same ;)

Toe-cap or not toe-cap...:puzzled: I don't have the time to draw lots of little zugs!

My prefrence would be the toe cap but only slighlty. I could live with either.

What Snowdown is being discontinued? Quickly somebody organize the GMTO. This is going to be a collectors item now.

Was visiting Paris last week and bought a pair of Tetbury boots in dark brown suede at the Saint Germain location.

One last effort (only other pics I found) to see about interest in possibly (in a Zugless world) doing the Snowdon in C&J's "walnut hurricane" which is waterproof like oak wax hide. I prefer it, as I think it's richer and more complex. I don't mind the waxed oak but it's little "washed out" to me - just not as interesting in my view.

^ Beautiful. Agree it's a great price. Almost definitely C&J

yes, just bought these myself with corp code. hopefully they are shell and made by c&j. price makes me suspicious about shell though.

Thanks!  I asked the same question in another thread.  240 last?

But is the heal pattern really C&J? The single nail in the middle of the heal isn't there.
