LukeM, best thing would be to base it off the actualy measurments. Most of the jackets and suits do not have a tag in them so I based the size (40R) on the chest width + length of coat. If it was a 21" chest that would be 42" total and a 40R jacket as its 2" bigger then the size. I thought thats how it was suppose to work, but please let me know if that is not correct. A 22" measurment would be 44" and I would label it a 42R, etc.

Best bet is to look at the measurments and go with those. The "size" is just a guide.
