although this is doubtful, my friend is looking for the discontinued cardholder wallet you guys had before. do you guys by any chance have any left at the flagship store i could buy while i'm there?

Unfortunately, we only carry the newest items at the flagship store. You will need to have him purchase it from a retailer OR wait until our next sample sale next summer.

I just noticed that too. The price of the belt was increased by $15 or so from my order last year, and the gift this year is definitely not as good as the wristband last year.

But I still ordered another belt anyway. I guess this is exactly why they raised the price.....

Tell me one thing you bought this year that cost less than it did one year ago?

There's an amazing phenomenon in the world of economics: inflation. Prices rise over time--the cost of goods, the cost of labor, the overall costs of doing business.

You ordered a belt because you (wisely) thought it was a good value. Just like it was last year. And you got something for free in the mix! Just like last year!

You should feel good about supporting handmade in the US goods. Stop bitching.

Inflation in this economy? Let alone a 20% inflation rate? When income actually dropped? Please.

My guess is now Tanner is being sold in more department stores, therefore they had to increase price to leave enough margin for those stores. At least this is what happens to some other brands (and they were nice enough to explain the price increase). If they simply feel the price was low comparing to demands, it's fine too. I still think it's good value, that's why I bought another one. But I still have the right to make a comment since it's indeed a relatively large increase.

We raised the cost because we have new hardware which is fabricated and manufactured in Portland, Oregon. It cost A LOT more than the hardware we used previously. 

 

We're not scheming against the world, just charging an honest price for our product. 

 

Thanks for supporting us regardless. We wouldn't be half the brand we are without customers like you.
