Michael Andrews Bespoke? Thoughts? - Page 2

Not at all "SPAM." I simply googled "michael andrews bespoke reviews" and this site popped up.  Typically, when people post or comment, they bash the brand/name/business.  Satisfied customers by general rule, never post or comment. I chose to give my honest feedback to what I quickly saw was about to be another bashing for MAB on this site. I have no reason to post anything to this site as I find it tedeous for what I would look for on a blog. This is the first time I have been back since I gave my two cents. And yes, Alton Lane associates showed up uninvited to the Grand Opening party at MAB that night, and were passind their cards around. As a matter of fact, Dan who has been mentioned here had to ask them to leave and escorted them out the front door.

I am an attorney who works on Capitol Hill, I have no agenda for my post, other than to provide my feedback, I have been rewarded with nothing.  Nor would I expect to be. And sorry, I didn't realize I have to be a serial poster for my opinion to matter. And maybe I should make a 1 sentence post, you can get a clear undertstanding of someones experience/opinion in 15 words or less.

Thanks for your time!

Cheers

I'll post more, so my opinions can be validated.

and come back to life to defend yourself after six months silence? Boasting or what you are and where you work carries no merit whatever.

Oh, you must have mistaken myself as someone that cares about internet tough guys. The problem with all of you is that you hide behind the computer and share one negative thought after another. Someone posts a positive experience on here and it HAS to be SPAM. The only reason I came back was I had received an email from this "styleforum" letting me know I haven't been here in a while. I KNEW everyone would have a problem with what I wrote. It's Rule #1 on blogs "Do NOT post positive opinions."  It NEVER fails, they always get bashed. And who is boasting? I was simply letting you know that i was no way associated with the comapny. Because we all know you cannot be positive about a business without working for them. It's cool bro, I'm sorry i hurt your feelings. I could not care less about "merit" as you so kindly put it, I left my honest feedback, and this is how I get treated by a Sr. Member? Great website! Seriously, I love how my 100% authentic experience gets degrated, and we wonder why this world is going to sh*t? Do not worry, I know all of you will be happy and life will go back to a much better world, as you can now continue all the negativity that this site seems to breed.

Cheers

That was great, I was in need of a laugh this morning.

Claims not to care about "internet tough guys" then goes on long tirade justifying himself to said "internet tough guys". Way to go, "bro" fistbump.gif

Edit: should clarify: I have nothing for or against MAB--have never used them. I also don't think this guy is an actual shill... But this was the exact wrong way to handle the situation.

I think it's a solid company, the price points are fair for the product your getting. Michael has stated that he wanted to make custom clothing accesible to the average guy, I wouldn't want to do this myself but it explains the bar and in a broader sense his approach and strategy.

It doesn't strike me as at all obvious that UKtoDC is a spammer. What is so far-fetched about the idea of somebody going on the internet to recommend a company about which they are very enthusiastic? And once they have found an appropriate"style forum", why wouldn't they use for their avatar a photo relating to the company which they have created an account specifically in order to praise? On the other hand, if the OP was an undercover employee of this tailor, he would probably be more cautious about using such a picture.

The photos I have seen show suits which have fit issues, but which are quite flattering

Initially, no I was not spamming this thread.  I simply googled MAB reviews before I went in for a consultation. The overwhelming majority of feedback was negative, I know to expect that from what I read on the internet. It breeds tough guys that are too scared to share their thoughts in person.  I found this site, and decided to come back to it after my experience and share good or bad. I personally had a good experience and wanted to share it, most were negative.  I did not respond obviously since I can see now that no one even posted till almost two months after I did. I do not frequent this site, I received a "we haven't seen you in a while" email and came back, didnt know my password or username. I saw that my honest opinion was being considered "spam" by the sheep on here, so I thought I could set the record straight, but the sheep flocked together and I get bashed. One thing I have posted on here that the majority who commented can't, is that I actually had an experience with the shop. As for my avatar, it's not even related to MABespoke, this is from Duncan Quinn, another bespoke clothier, and I've been a long time client of. So call me spammer, make fun of my comments, continue to degrade my opinion....that is fine. I am truly sorry I got sucked up in the bantar that proceeded, it's childish and we all should be better than that..so for that I apologize. Once again, this is not spam. I wish my opinion would have been taken as that, an opinion.

I think you may have misread my post or detected sarcasm where there was not any.

Not directed towards you, sir. It appears that others feel the need to comment on my responses so it was guided towards them. I actually appreciated your initial comment, other than the "spammer" part.

I'm not 100% sure if he's a spammer, but I am 100% sure he's not a lawyer as he claims. Lawyers very rarely say "it's cool bro," they never say "you must have mistaken myself," and they never ever ever spell degraded "degrated."

Stereotypes. I'm only 30, I can't use "bro" on an Internet forum? And I thank you, human spell check, more proof people read blogs to bash (this time grammar over context) but i typed off my iPhone, I saw the "degrated" misspelling after I clicked reply. I didn't bother to proof beforehand. And fuck editing it, I didn't think it mattered, though I should have known better. And as for the actual OP, I truly know nothing about the topic, they are clearly letting me know, so take my opinion for what it's worth. I've only worked with three clothiers in my lifetime, Gai Gohari of AB, Duncan Quinn, ask for Twersky, and MABespoke. I don't have the clear knowledge of the other members on this site. *excuse any typos as this has been published off of my iPhone*
