It seems to defeat the purpose of a "tie". Perhaps he started off doing it just being ironic and it grew into something else.

It's one common way to tie a day cravat, or ascot, but with a standard necktie it's lazy--which makes for an odd combo with the stereotypically fastidious braces.

Wait until you get to 100 posts, say, in 3 1/2 years. You will discover the wonderful world of CE.

One of life's great pleasures is that this tool has retired. For the life of me I can't work out why he lasted so long - he was so shallow and ridiculous. Maybe the lack of competition from any even poorer gene pool? The egregious sucking up to celebs and inane questions was the worst part but then I suppose there was a reason....

To be honest if your job description is crawling up celebrities asses without asking any serious questions you don´t want to be wearing any clothes that might get dirty. His clothes represent the standard uniform of any sewer rat

His suspenders are keeping him alive man.

You're actually citing CBS news? The organization that outright falsified documents on a sitting president? You know, the ones that NYT actually said were [cough!] "Fake, but Accurate" with a straight face?

I don't why you guys are so down on Larry, he's pretty hip for a hundred and twenty year old.

I may have to rethink LK. He skewered Piers Morgan last night: http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20110224...20110224082318
