Wash or don't wash??

I was told by a friend, who works with a company that produces denim jeans, that jeans, all jeans, should not be washed unless they have been stained.

Is this true??

dude are you serious?

you need to wash them every day or else your jeans will fall apart. get with the program son. wash as often as possible!

+1 Wash them whenever you get a spare moment. Even if you don't wear them.

Yeah what these guys said. Your friend has been buying into a bunch of stupid marketing hype from his own company. ALL JEANS need to be washed after every wear. Even if it's only a 2 hour period. The denim simply can't being exposed to stains for any extended period of time.

Many people say the same , don't wash your jeans so often , ortherwise they will lost their original color !!!

i store my jeans ina bucket of water and detergent so that they are 'washed" 24/7! BOOYAH bitches!

It depends on the ype of jeans you have.
Some jeans you dont wash at all such as the Black Wax or any Waxy type of denim.

If you want that "new" jean look then YES DO NOT WASH THEM.
If they start to smell put them in the freezer for a few days then the smell
will go away.

yes. only wash if they have been stained or stained on. your friend who works for a denim company is 100% correct. never, never, never, never, NEVER, under any circumstance are you to wash your jeans. n/m the smell ... they will look COOL. thats the point of fashion right ... fuck how you smell as long as you look cool. your friend should be fired.
