I finally got my taxes done yesterday. Ho-lee-shit. My mistake for taking slightly more money home with each paycheck in exchange for paying more at tax time. Subsequently, it's time to pare my closet down to the bone. I'm stripping it of pretty much anything I don't wear frequently. Prices include shipping. Stuff You'll Be Glad You Have Come Next Winter - Johnstons Greyscale Scarf: Picked this up at Epaulet during my trip to NYC last fall. Beautiful pieces that's at once muted and striking. Soft lambswool and quite the substantial scarf. I used it daily for about a month, but it wound up in my closet for a lot of winter since I only left home to hit the gym most days, which meant I dressed like a scrub. Product info here. $42 shipped.
- H&M Mint Cotton Pants (34R): These things scream summer. I bought them last summer and never got around to wearing them. I believe they were made as part of a summer suit (I recall seeing a matching jacket). As you can see by the pictures, they feature a distinct powder blue / mint color. The material is light, which makes them wearable even after the temperatures rise. I folded them up before storing them, which is why they look a bit wrinkly. A few minutes getting better acquainted with a steamer and they'll be looking minty fresh (pun intended). Tagged a 34R, they fit TTS (34-inch waist and 34-inch inseam). Retailed for $50. Only looking to pick up $44 -> $40 -> $37 shipped for these brand-new pants.
