pot smoking for adults

ok, I just found out that a friend of mine, a 50 year old woman with teenage kids, has been smoking pot 3 times a day her whole life. does this sound reasonable? strikes me as pretty crazy. it really changes the way I think about her.

Yeah. You'd think that by 50 she'd have moved on to something less childish.

What did you think of her before you found out? Is she raising her children in a responsible manner?
What is she paying for good chronic?

That's A LOT. I don't think it should really bother you though. Her body probably doesn't have much of a reaction to it at this point. Hell, RSS and Dakota may smoke that much. RSS sure as hell probably can afford it. That must be how he gets his creative juices flowing.

Haven't we had this thread before? If she's successful and happy good for her. Way less harmful then having 3 drinks a day for tht period of time.

It seems more socially taboo because of the legalities involved. Assuming she isn't messing with anything harder than pot and still providing a good home for her children, I see no harm.

complicated - always liked her, never thought that she was terribly bright. she's raised two good kids, but the kids aren't terribly successful.

I don't think that I like her any less, I'm thinking that I have a lot less respect for her.

Why do you have less respect for her? Would her children have been more successful if she hadn't smoked pot?

honestly, probably less if she were drinking 3 times a day. not thrilled with addicts.
