powderfinger broke up recently. i always found their music to be boring.

pio, if you like wolfmother you might like Tumbleweed, although their stuff is probably hard to come by now.

I saw Tumbleweed at the Shents in 91 - they got a lot better later. I think they were supporting The Welcome Mat and the bloke who later become a Lemonhead.

Yup. It was an old dive of a pub where occasionally a good indie band would play. The mythology started once it shut.
