I just picked up a pair of Christopherson's Creamery Milkman Boots from Blackbird so I'm selling my Alden cap toe boots in black shell cordovan - size 9 B/D. The cap toes are built on the Grant last. I bought them from Alden DC and immediately sent them to the Alden factory in Middleborough where they replaced the double leather sole with a commando sole (Alden DC has since started to carry the boots with the commando sole).
The liners indicate Alden Restoration. And while the boots have not been worn more than a handful of times they were retrofitted by Alden and that means that these boots won't be able to be resoled as many times as a new boot. Translation - you can buy a pretty nice pair of Alden black shell cordovan cap toe boots for $375 shipped CONUS using paypal gift (or plus a 4% upcharge to cover paypal fees if you prefer standard paypal).
