Whaaaat? How can you not love the classic leathers that can be special ordered? (I'm not sure about the gloved jacket; the asymmetrical stitch that runs up the back really annoys me for some reason. The scarstitch and fencing are easy to wear and not at all uncomfortable, IMO. nicelynice- have you tried on any of the older Cdiem leathers that pop on Yahoo JP? They look amazing.

I've never tried on the fencing, admittedly, but all the leathers feel very oppressive to me. I put on the gloved leather and felt like I couldn't move - almost claustrophobic. I like lighter jackets, which is why I don't really go for calf (and sold my wjk guidi calf jacket, even though that's the softer end of it), softer washed lamb works better. I'm not a very serious dude, I don't want a big serious jacket. I've tried on Carpe leathers, the shirts are amazing (I bought a "ripoff" one by wjk that is basically the same thing for half the price), everything else is nice, but not for me. The heavy destroyed horse motorcycle jackets, in particular, are something else, but they're a force to be reckoned with, and would do much better on a bigger person - they're cut a big fuller than I like. I don't like the leather coats or jackets that fall below the waist much, I prefer my leathers cropped.

The WJK Guidi jacket is really wonderful design- super clean & minimalistic.

It's like one or two inches too long for me, unfortunately. Did not sit well on my hips when zipped, either gotta be tall or rail thin to pull it off. The leather is the best I've ever handled, though

Well glad I am not the only one who has experienced this. In life we try to learn from our mistakes. Last time I dealt with a hard nosed seller they had a $500 NWT DG brown with white stripe runway silk shirt. I tried to offer $275 then up to $375 and they said $450 was the lowest and I know the market place pretty well and I'll just watch it, or so I thought, but it wasn't long before the shirt sold for the full $500 and I lost my chance. Maybe that was overpriced. I sure thought it was, but I ended up being wrong. Did I want to revisit dejavu again.... Maybe this would have sold for the full listed price of $290 had I watched for reduction, so no didn't want to wait for that. So it turns out this piece is like a rejected experiment of ccp, and yeah I know ewww poly and silk shirts, are you stuck in the 70's and 80's, but sure could have fooled me that this clothing is NOT popular getting into bidding wars over some shirts, sometimes $100-150 in the last minute. Thanks to everyone who gave me great insight over this issue. It was helpful to LEARN, but I know I will still love this piece even if its a reject

You're going to leave negative feedback beacuse you feel stupid for willfully paying an inflated price?

You're a fucking idiot. The price was obviously not too high; otherwise, you would not have paid it.

I agree with the others; this is a completely inappropriate use of Ebay's feedback system and the use of a negative rating. Further, it is completely unreasonable for you to leave him a negative for your own misinformed actions or lack of preparation. Were I this seller and you left a negative for this reason, I would file a dispute with you through ebay and have the feedback removed, and have you potentially flagged for inappropriate bidder/buying practices. Ebay will side with the seller, in this case, guaranteed. I'm surprised that you've been on ebay for 10 years and don't realize that "Bidder irresponsibility" is not covered under their "buyer's protection" rules.

Negging someone 'cause you're an idiot who doesn't know market value of what you're buying?

And the next best thing is to leave nothing at all... Certainly won't be buying anything again from this particular seller

This is fine, and your choice, and seems reasonable. A negative, however, does not, especially since this seller held up his end of the bargain. He never claimed, nor had he any reason, to sell you the shirt at any price other than the price YOU agreed to pay. I assume he shipped in a timely fashion, answered your questions, etc. Further, had SF told you, 'DUDE! That shirt is AWESOME, it retailed for $950,000" you'd have been thrilled with it. None of that is the seller's fault, btw, nor grounds for you to leave a negative as retribution for your own mistake. $275 is a lot for that shirt, but pretty cheap in the long run as you'll never do a designer "blind buy" again. All things being equal, it's a pretty cheap way to learn the lesson; many end up spending a lot more on old junk on ebay and never realize that the chicken shit they're eating isn't chicken salad. It doesn't take Dr. Frooood to see, too, that you knew from the start that you paid too much for this shirt, and simply wanted a reason/justification for that (and to raise a stink with the seller). You'd never have started the OP if you really liked or wanted this shirt. It was an impulse buy gone wrong.
