IC: Macbook Pro Unibody

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I'm just checking to see if anyone would be interested in a 15 inch Macbook Pro Unibody.

It's specs are:
Intel Core 2 Duo
2.53 GHz
4GB
500GB hard drive

It's been lightly used. I bought it back for my high school graduation because I thought I needed a workhorse of a computer. Turns out, I bought a desktop and this has been laying around gathering dust other than the occasional time I bring it to class. I'd probably be looking to get around $1500.
Thanks

You'd have better luck doing $800-1000

Wow, SF has become THE place for wildly overpriced used computers! "Come here, save minus 60%!" ...could be our slogan. I'm all for a free market, but I think we need (as long-term members) to encourage "self-selectivity" with sales threads. If a potential buyer has to wade through four pages of junk and/or wildly overpriced merch to find our "good" sales, the whole purpose of the SF sales area loses its meaning. The point was NOT to give a place for members to circumvent ebay fees and make quick $$$ with stuff they can't sell on ebay or that wouldn't fetch the price there they want. The purpose was to create a further sense of community between members with sales, items offered at good prices, or trades/bartering with "e-friends." If we lose that gentlemanly "honor" system, we lose everything. I don't agree with thread-shitting, but I also think we need to encourage REAL membership in the community rather than just flash-posting whatever used items we want at absurd prices meant to circumvent ebay policies. There is no chance that these items will sell here, so that's not my concern. It's just about the wasted space and the difficulty of finding "good" stuff because of it.

Just for reference I sold a Unibody 15" MBP with the exact same specs in excellent condition on ebay about 4 months ago for 1k
