They need to send all of those artifacts to the Louvre and the British Museum where they belong.

hawas is extremely close to mubarak. I don't doubt what he says, but the average Egyptian knows that hawas is close to mubarak, and that can't help anything. or he could just be crying wolf.

but, yeah, they should ship off a lot of that stuff to the civilized world.

Hawass has been a magnificent spokesman for Egyptian antiquity....you'd have to say if you ever watched Discovery channel.
