The Sand trickers would be nice. I think the blue version is abit too dark and I feel not as versatile. They are also unlined, which I have experience is not so good as far as shape and durability of the suede goes. At that price without VAT refunds, it would be abit difficult to justify.
The Lodgers is still available in a Tan colour but the price is a little more than the Trickers and if you own any Chukkas in brown, it would seem a little repetitive.
Blue Suede is difficult to match. I've been successful pairing it with Chinos and Corduroy trousers. Dark jeans only works if they are cuffed so there is a distinctly visible break.

Two days ago I was also considering buying one of these. I ended up ordering 2 Drakes scarves from the same source. I have a pair of cheap (about 70 USD) blue suede crepe sole from Massimo Dutti. They are versatile if you have purchased cotton Incotex/Mabitex pants in all colours. I have a pair of Tricker's derbys in a similar last and find them too clunky. And I would like the Lodger boot with leather soles, like these

Blue chukkas are great. I have gray ones that I wear all the time.

I have blue suede bluchers from Alden and really like them. They're more subtle than one would think, and They're a nice casual shoe. I dint know if I'd wear them with blue jeans though - too much blue. Though sometimes I wear them with navy chinos so what the hell do I know!

My Loake suede desert boots look quite good with jeans and cost less than either of your suggestions.

I have dropped the idea since I feel they would be too matchy matchy with jeans and I was primarily buying them to wear with jeans.
