With the exception of the red Spruce vs W+H, you really can't tell between W+H and Spruce without opening the plastic bags. There was a sticker on the bag though, but I couldn't tell for sure if my black one was a W+H or Spruce without actually inspecting the label. I think CYC had an ordering system for the retailers and it showed how many they had in their inventory for each color and style (tiger vs regular, slim vs regular) and size, Brian just ordered from them. There might not be any differentiation between Spruce and W+H at CYC's system coz they just renamed the brand. Like I said before, if your Spruce navy slim M is a good fit now, you probably will find the W+H one a bit too tight. So with the exception of the "normal" cuff lengths I think you actually lucked out to get a Spruce instead, coz you can't find those BNWT easily, and it's got RiRi zipper. And IIRC you were "unsure" about the long cuffs when I first picked up mine... The red Spruce is completely different than what we expected so if you don't love the color I'd return it, $150 is a lot for a hoodie that you don't love. Also, the inside lining of my black W+H gets some black shit on my light color tees. I still like the fit and the hoodie, but if LW restocks their zipup black hoodies in S I'll probably get one and might offload my black W+H slim M... we'll see... I have 2 LWs and 3 Spruce/W+H hoodies now, I now actually prefer the LW ones quite a bit more... well, only downside is the YKK zippers they use, a bit too "cheap" for a >$200 hoodie.

i think i might return my red one, unless i can think of someone to give it to as a nice christmas gift...

i'm trying to make myself feel better about my regular cuff spruce..... and you're taunting me?!!? heheh... no, i just have somewhat long monkey arms. as it stands, i'd even rather the spruces have another inch or two on the sleeves. it's not bad as it, just not ideal.

Oi Vey this is a muddle. Just to let you folks know, we're trying to figure/work things out right now between ourselves, the agent, and Brian. I can't say any more at this point. And regarding the comment about bunching and the body looking too long, unzip the bottom zipper a couple inches and it'll be perfect, even when you sit down.

Personally, I have not heard of W+H and Spruce until a few months ago. I don't know anything about their history, fit, iterations, variations, and different lines. What I do know is what I received (incorrectly) and how it fits on me. I was hoping that the pictures I posted would help you and others. Maybe you are suggesting there are not only regular(short) and long cuff, but also a third size, like medium?

For reference, my cuff is about 6".

I don't really think this is Peasant's fault from what I understand. I think that they ordered directly from CYC and then sent them out. I guess Peasant will have to put in the official word on this but to me it seems like the blame comes from CYC if Peasant was ordering what they were were W+H's and CYC sent them Spruces.

I posted because I wanted people to know we are aware of the issue and are working on it, not to stir up any ill will or to create a spectre of blame for this issue. As I mentioned, this isn't simple or clearcut as you have guessed aloud in your post. In hopes of being able to offer future online-exclusive sales like the one Peasant very kindly provided, please be patient.

i don't blame Brian/peasant. Kudos to him for offering the deal in the first place. Clearly issues have arisen. Nice to know you guys are trying to figure out what happened or fix issues, etc. Despite getting a Spruce rather than a W+H, he has a repeat customer in me.

althot I will return my tiger red (with heathered white), i also want to thank Brian for this special event and I am 100% sure i will be a repeated customer to Brian/Peasant...

Beside the tiger red, i am really happy with my tiger black.

Brian has a return customer here as well. No gripes.

None of us here really know the whole story, but I have to say this is a completely unanticipated response.

I am guessing aloud, I think that is clear. I don't want to start any problems, but we aren't the only ones benefiting from the sale.

Thank you for your patience. It's the weekend now, but we are trying to resolve the issue now and for the forseeable future. We're also working on how and what to provide as a web presence, and some other little titbits. Spring 07's on its way, and Fall isn't far behind. Lots to do for the handful of us, so understand that we were dismayed to see one of our first online endeavours to run less-than-smoothly. I think everyone involved would stand to gain from this project, and even with the muddle and inconvenience. You guys got a good idea regarding the fits of our garments, the options available in terms of cuff length, differences between zippers, comparisons between rib patterns; and in exchange, we got your feedback and ideas regarding preferences of the online demographic.
